This tool splits a PDF two ways. In Extract mode you enter a page range — like 1-3,7 — and get a single new PDF containing just those pages, in order. In Split-each mode every page becomes its own one-page PDF, handy for pulling apart a batch scan. Each result is downloadable on its own. Your PDF is read and rebuilt entirely in your browser with the pdf-lib library and the new files are made on your device, so nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Common questions
How do I extract specific pages?
Choose Extract range, type a range like 1-3,5,9-12, and click Split. You get one new PDF with exactly those pages in the order listed.
Can I split a PDF into one file per page?
Yes. Choose Split each page and every page becomes its own single-page PDF, each with its own Download button.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied intact into new documents, so there is no re-compression or quality loss — only the page selection changes.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser tab using the pdf-lib library loaded on your device. Your file is read locally and the split PDFs are built on your machine — nothing is sent to a server.
