Rotate images locally

RotateImage turns your JPG, PNG, and WebP images a quarter-turn left, a quarter-turn right, or a full half-turn (180°), entirely in your browser. For 90° and 270° the output canvas swaps width and height so nothing is cropped. Rotate a whole batch at once, pick PNG, JPEG, or WebP output, and download each result. Every image is decoded, rotated on a canvas, and re- encoded on your own device — the pixels are never uploaded to a server.

Common questions

How do I rotate an image 90 degrees?

Add your image, choose “90° right” (clockwise) or “90° left” (counter-clockwise), and click Rotate. The output is re-sized so the rotated image fits exactly, with no cropping or black borders.

Can I rotate several images at once?

Yes. Add as many JPG, PNG, or WebP images as you like, choose an angle, and click Rotate — every image is turned the same way, then you can download them individually or all at once.

Does rotating reduce image quality?

Rotating by 90°, 180°, or 270° is lossless — the pixels are only repositioned, not resampled. Any quality change comes solely from re-encoding a photo to JPEG or WebP; choose PNG to keep it lossless.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Images are read through in-browser object URLs and rotated on your machine with the Canvas API. Nothing is sent to a server, so the tool also works offline once the page has loaded.
