Can I control how it looks?
Yes — set the text, font size, opacity (so it sits behind or lightly over the content), rotation angle (a diagonal 45° is typical), and color. The watermark is centered on each page.
Can it lock or protect the document?
No. A watermark is a visual mark only; it does not encrypt or password-protect the file, and it can be removed by someone with the right tools. Use it to label intent (DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL), not to enforce access control.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
