Prepare a PDF in one local flow

Getting a document ready often takes several tools: merge the files, turn the sideways scan, drop the blank page, then shrink it to fit an upload limit, downloading and re-selecting the file at every step. Here you add your PDFs and photos once and do it all on one page. Every page appears as a thumbnail you can move, turn or remove, with undo and a reset back to the original order. Compression is optional and is explained before you turn it on, because it redraws pages as pictures. When you build the PDF, the new file is opened again and checked: its page count, the size and orientation of every page in order, that it draws, and that selectable text survived. Only a file that passes can be downloaded. Your files are read in your browser and are never uploaded.

Common questions

Which files can I add?

PDF files and JPG, PNG or WebP images, in any mix. Each image becomes one page. Up to 30 files, 100 MB per file, 300 MB in total and 500 pages. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened: remove the password in your PDF reader first, if you are allowed to.

Will the text in my PDF stay selectable?

Yes, unless you turn on compression. Combining, reordering, rotating and removing pages keep the original page content, and the tool checks that the exported pages still have their text. Compression redraws each page as a picture, so it is off by default and you have to confirm it first.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. Undo and Redo step through your page moves, turns and removals, and Reset puts every page back in its original order and orientation. Your original files are never changed.

What happens to a digitally signed PDF?

Any change, even just combining it with another file, produces a new file that the digital signature no longer covers, so a PDF reader will show it as invalid or missing. The tool warns you when a file has one. A drawn or typed signature on the page is just part of the page's picture and is kept, but it is not a digital signature.

Are form fields, links, bookmarks and accessibility tags kept?

Not guaranteed. Links and comments are copied with their pages but may not work, fillable fields may stop being fillable, and bookmarks, accessibility tags and the document title and author are not carried over. The tool tells you when a file has these before you build.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The files are read, combined and checked in your browser tab. They are not uploaded or saved, and they are gone when you press Clear or close the tab.
