How to convert GB to TB
Divide gigabytes by 1024 to get terabytes in binary units. For example, 2048 GB ÷ 1024 = 2 TB. When sizing a backup or cloud plan, remember that drives are sold in decimal units: a '2 TB' drive holds 2,000 decimal GB, which shows as about 1,863 GB (1.82 TB) on most computers.
