How to convert Celsius to Kelvin
Add 273.15 to the Celsius temperature. For example, 25 °C + 273.15 = 298.15 K. A kelvin is the same size as a degree Celsius; only the zero point differs. 0 K is absolute zero (−273.15 °C), so Kelvin values are never negative. Kelvin is written without a degree sign: 298.15 K, not 298.15 °K.

Common questions
What is room temperature in Kelvin?
Room temperature of 20–25 °C is about 293–298 K. Chemistry often uses 298.15 K (25 °C) as standard.
Why is there no degree sign on Kelvin?
Kelvin is an absolute scale and its unit is the kelvin (K) itself, so it is written 300 K, not 300 °K.
What is 0 °C in Kelvin?
0 °C is 273.15 K, the freezing point of water.
